FALCAO STAYS SILENT
The Athletico Madrid’s Colombian striker Radamel Falcao has choose to remain extremely silent regarding his future. The 26-year-old has been linked with some of the biggest clubs in the world including the likes of Barcelona. Tottenham and Manchester City have also been showing a lot of interest in the player, while Chelsea were close to signing him last summer for around £ 30 million. He instead joined the Spanish club Athletico Madrid for a fee of £ 35 million, which looks to be extremely good value for money given that he has helped the club win the Europa league tournament.
Radamel Falcao is regarded as one of the best strikers in the world went it comes to putting chances away due to his presence in the penalty area. He has been linked with a £ 50 million move to Barcelona and Manchester City in the summer. Athletico Madrid, though, have said that the striker is definitely not for sale, as they are looking to win the UEFA Super Cup with his presence in the team. Athletico Madrid will be playing Chelsea in the competition in August. The striker, though, failed to commit to the Spanish club by saying that he is currently on a holiday.
“I cannot talk about anything. I am looking forward to returning to Atletico,” said the striker after coming back from his holiday. However, the recent developments in the transfer window have meant that Radamel Falcao is one of the few strikers who would be a perfect signing for the likes of Barcelona and Manchester City. Both clubs are looking forward to getting a striker on the board, who will help them get around 30 goals a season and the Colombian international certainly fits into that category.

Colombian legend Carlos Valderrama has said that he is extremely grateful to Athletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao for raising the profile of the Colombian football.

Speaking on the occasion of the striker winning the Europa league, Colombian legend Carlos Valderrama has praised the striker by saying that he will be the source of great motivation for all of the Colombian youngsters, who are aspiring to become a professional footballer. Athletico Madrid managed to beat Athletic Bilbao 3-0 in the final of the Europa league, which helped him secure the trophy for the second time in three seasons. This time around, however, the name Falcao has a centre of attention because he has proven to be such a massive hit.
